Whistleblower Exposes Biden Regime Trafficking 85,000 Migrant Children to Fake Sponsors

(OurNationNews.com) The Biden administration is trafficking unaccompanied minors to unvetted sponsors according to the testimony of whistleblowers at a Senate hearing.

Tara Lee Rodas worked for the federal government for 20 years and witnessed gangs like MS-13 sponsoring unaccompanied children that have crossed the border as a way to traffic children. In one case, Rodas said a 16-year old Guatemalan girl was supposedly placed with her brother, but child pornography with the girl was later released online.

Deborah White, another whistleblower that testified at the hearing, said the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) hired a contractor that was not properly vetting the sponsors to ensure safety of the vulnerable minors in their custody. The program costs taxpayers billions of dollars according to White’s testimony. She said the government has been complicit in the trafficking of children.

Reports have been made regarding 85,000 missing children that were handed over to sponsors as part of the HHS program. Secretary Xavier Becerra said no children have gone missing under the program while he has been head of the agency. The whistleblowers are not claiming that the children went missing while in custody of HHS and contractors, but that the children could no longer be tracked shortly after being handed over to unvetted sponsors.

The agency attempts to make a follow-up phone call with the sponsor about 30 days after the placement of the child. At this time, the agency is not able to get in touch with the sponsor or verify that the child is safe. Senators Grassley, Cassidy, and Ron Johnson all expressed concerns regarding the program and the Biden administration’s open border policy.

White referred to multiple instances in which children were sent to live with unvetted sponsors despite obvious red flags. She said 329 children were sent to live in two Houston, Texas apartments. Other children were sent to abandoned homes, false addresses, and at least one child was sent to an open field in Michigan.
