(OurNationNews.com) A passionate effort of the US military to filter out “white supremacists” from its barracks has fallen flat after they failed to find such individuals in the forces.
The controversial Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) practices have marred the military’s reputation as the Pentagon led an effort to find “violent extremists” and “white supremacists” from the military. Despite rigorous efforts to do so, the military only managed to find 100 individuals in the force of nearly 2.1 million personnel.
Reportedly, the US military is trying to eradicate racism and negative biases in its members, claiming that these traits impact the war readiness of the forces.
According to the Director of the Center for American Institutions at Arizona State University, Donald Critchlow, the US military should follow the footsteps of private organizations that are now abandoning the racist DEI policies after finding them highly ineffective in practical life.
Critchlow further argued that the military must end “social engineering” to promote merit and fairness in its ranks. He believes that there are enough ways to promote unity in the military other than wasting the taxpayers’ money on these controversial programs that only increase divisions within the forces.
Despite the visible failure of the DEI policies in the military, the Pentagon is still asking for increased funding for these practices in the 2024 budget. In 2022, the Defense Department was allocated $68 million for these policies, while this budget was increased to $86.5 million in 2023. This year, the Pentagon is demanding a whopping $114.7 million for propagating controversial measures.
Matt Lohmeier, who was fired from the US space force for accusing the military of following Marxist policies, slammed the politicization of the armed forces. He stated that young people no longer want to join the armed forces, adding that the military starts “indoctrination” right from the service academy where newly recruited personnel are trained.
