Israel Government Slammed Over ‘Zero Innocent Citizens’ Comments

(OurNationNews.com) An Israeli hostage who was released said on video that there are no innocent Palestinian citizens.

This statement has sparked protests because the death toll in Palestine has been significantly higher than the Israeli death toll since the start of the war on October 7. In the 51-second video, the released hostage spoke in Hebrew and said the Palestinian families treated her like an animal. She said the families there are under the control of Hamas.

The video originally appeared on the X account for Israel, but was later taken down for unknown reasons. It is also unknown whether Israel or the platform X took the posts down. Users on X were posting screenshots indicating that Israel paid for ads to give the video more views.

The post also stated that several citizens of Gaza were involved in the horrific events that occurred on October 7. The post alleges that many Gazans held hostages in their homes, which is something that should be widely condemned and not ignored.

People were upset about the video being posted and criticized Israel for using the statements from the released hostage as a ploy to justify their killing of Palestinians. A war crimes researcher said releasing the video in this way was to intentionally blur the lines between civilians and military men. Israel has said that the word “civilian” is overused and misused because it is often used for individuals who have worked alongside Hamas.

Jewish actor and comedian Michael Rapaport released a video in which he strongly criticizes people who condemned the actions of Israel in the operation to rescue hostages from Gaza. He said civilians that keep hostages in their homes are not innocent. He said innocent Gazan civilians should speak up when they see hostages being held. Rapaport continued by saying Gazan civilians have no right to complain about Israeli attacks if they don’t do anything to save the hostages that are being held in Gaza.
