(OurNationNews.com) Representative Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin said that Americans are getting left out to dry as the Democratic party scrambles amidst calls for President Biden to step aside as the presidential nominee. Tiffany referred to Nancy Pelosi’s comments about the disastrous state of the Democratic party when they should really be focusing on the disaster that faces the country.
Tiffany said the American people want to know what is going to be done about the border, inflation, and the economy, but they are not receiving answers from the Democratic party or President Biden. Tiffany talked about the major issue the party has with Joe Biden making significant errors while speaking. Tiffany referred to recent statements by Biden in which he said “Putin” while referring to President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. On the same day, Biden said he would not have chosen Vice President Trump if he didn’t feel she was capable of being president.
Tiffany also took issue with comments from Cedric Richmond, who is working on the BIden re-election campaign. Richmond said the only people who are interested in having Biden step aside as the nominee are white and elitist. Richmond said he finds it “interesting” that no black members of Congress have asked for Biden to rescind his presumptive nomination. Tiffany said the fact that Richmond is saying there is a racial component to this issue is indicative of a bigger problem for the party.
While the push to remove Biden has been strong since the disastrous debate performance on June 27, it has taken a backseat to the assassination attempt of Trump at a rally on July 13. The Biden campaign did a temporary pause on campaign activities in the aftermath of the shooting and he also addressed the nation to say political violence is not acceptable.
In a Michigan rally before the attempted assassination, Biden said he is getting “hammered” by members of his party for not remembering names. He added that Donald Trump gets a free pass when it comes to questions of age or mental acuity.
